WHAT IS ZAMAR?

Zamar is a NAP Client for PocketPC. The NAP protocol is a widely used peer-to-peer file sharing protocol used on services such as Napster, OpenNAP, SlavaNap, Napigator, and many others. To learn more about the NAP protocol, please visit the OpenNAP server project at http://opennap.sourceforge.net. Zamar is written entirely in Embedded Visual C++ and functions on ARM, MIPS and SH3 PocketPC Devices as well as most Windows CE devices.

  • Increased response cache from 100 to 1000 (supports up to 1000 search or browse responses)
  • Removed "Response Timeout" preference; replaced with "Retry Interval"
  • Bug Fix: Completed downloads can no longer be cancelled

  • Rewrote the 'Find More Sources' feature to be compatible with all servers by using a filename/size search rather than a checksum search.
